This page is here so that all potential recruits will have the information they need to apply and understand what is to be expected of them as applicants to this clan. Please read this carefully and all the information in the recruitment forum before applying.
Who may Apply:
The Oromëa is a selective group of Mirdain devoted to the defense of our forest home: Mirendil. As such we only permit Mirdain applicants. Additionally, we accept a limited number of Human applicants, who are placed into one of our sub-Orders of the Tawarwaith. These human applicants will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and accepted only if they are truly exceptional.
How to Apply:
In order to apply for membership into The Oromëa you must fill out the application on our forums. Please answer all questions on the application and read the Rules and Guidelines thread before posting the application.
What to do after Applying?
The most important thing to do after applying to join the Oromëa is to remain active. Our members shall be posting questions for you on your application, please answer all of them honestly and to the best of your ability. As well it is a good idea for you to view and reply to other threads on our forums as well as create some of your own. Roleplaying threads are a good way to gain attention. Another extremely important thing to join and remain active in our IRC Channel. Information on that can be found by following this link.
What we are looking for:
We are a fairly selective group; we only choose from the best of our applicants – those who have exhibited that they are a worthy addition to our ranks. Additionally, we are looking for those who remain active, who exhibit a strong loyalty and are contributing to the clan by posting and remaining in IRC.
After Being Accepted:
After the Lathruin has approved your membership, a process that usually will take about a month but can be longer if needed, you will receive a Private Message with some information from one of the Lathruin or the Recruitment Officer and will recieve a Welcome thread on our announcement board and website.
Once you have been accepted you are permitted to use the Oromea| tag in IRC. You, however, will not be receiving access to members only information and our private forums. After you have been selected all members are on a probationary period for at least two weeks, no more than two months in which you must show your continued dedication, loyalty and activity to the clan.
